- June 21
“If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men” (Romans 12:18). God calls us to actively pursue peace in our relationships, taking responsibility for our part. Although we can’t control others, we can reflect His character through our commitment to harmony.

“Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all” (Psalm 34:19). Difficulties, challenges, and persecutions are part of life, even for those who follow God. However, we can be confident that deliverance is certain; we can always trust in His faithfulness.

“These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world” (John 16:33). We find our peace in Jesus—the Prince of Peace—not in the world or even in absence of trouble. His victory gives us confidence that no challenge we face is greater than His power.

“And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet” (Matthew 24:6). The world’s chaos shouldn’t shake our inner peace or confidence in God’s plan. Even when events seem alarming, we’re called to remain grounded and unafraid.

“Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me” (John 14:1). Jesus calls us to anchor our hearts in faith rather than fear, even when life feels fearful and uncertain. Trusting Him brings supernatural peace that steadies us beyond what we can control.

“We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair” (2 Corinthians 4:8). While we may face pressure and uncertainty, we’re never without hope or strength in Christ. God sustains us in every circumstance, ensuring that hardship doesn’t have the final say.

“Surely in vain the net is spread in the sight of any bird” (Proverbs 1:17). Godly wisdom helps us recognize traps in life before we fall into them, if we’re willing to pay attention. God’s truth exposes deception so that we aren’t overtaken by what is clearly set against us.

“What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him? For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour. Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet” (Psalm 8:4-6). God deeply values us; despite our imperfections, He chose to crown us with honor and give us responsibility over His creation. This reveals both our significance to Him and the authority He has entrusted to us.

“And he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because he eateth not of faith: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin” (Romans 14:23). Faith in God’s love, mercy, and compassion for us must guide our actions and decisions in every area of life. When we act outside of faith, we step into uncertainty instead of the assurance that comes from trusting Him.
- June 12
“So now there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus” (Romans 8:1, NLT). Our position in Christ Jesus frees us from guilt and moves us out from under condemnation. This enables us to live confidently, led by the Spirit rather than burdened by shame.

Apart from Christ, we will never be sufficient to supply all our own needs. He is the one who empowers us to do whatever task he asks us to do.

“Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things” (Philippians 4:8, NIV).
Our thoughts influence everything about us, and they can either hold us back from the goodness of God or connect us to him. Focusing on the positive instead of the negative helps us rise above the pettiness of the world’s mindset and walk in the Spirit.

“Por último, hermanos, consideren bien todo lo verdadero, todo lo respetable, todo lo justo, todo lo puro, todo lo amable, todo lo digno de admiración, en fin todo lo que sea excelente o merezca elogio” (Filipenses 4:8, NVI).
Nuestros pensamientos influyen todo acerca de nosotros, y pueden retenernos de las cosas de Dios, o conectarnos a él. Enfocando en lo positivo en lugar de lo negativo nos ayuda a elevarnos de las cosas del mundo y andar en el Espíritu.

“Humíllense delante del Señor, y él los exaltará” (Santiago 4:10, NVI).
Siendo airosos en orgullo en las cosas que hacemos reflejan una actitud que no complace a Dios. Confiando en las obras completadas de Jesús es como enseñamos humildad. Esto permite que Dios nos exalte hacia nuevos niveles.

“Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up” (James 4:10, NIV).
Getting all puffed up with pride in the things we can do reflects an attitude that does not please God. Trusting in the finished works of Jesus is how we show true humility. This allows God to lift us up to heights we could never imagine.

“Do everything without grumbling or arguing, so that you may become blameless and pure, ‘children of God without fault in a warped and crooked generation.’ Then you will shine among them like stars in the sky” (Philippians 2:14, 15, NIV).
Our attitude is very important, especially because others are watching us to see how Christians act in everyday situations. When people see that we have the same attitude as Christ, we will stand out like beacons of light in a dark world.

“Háganlo todo sin quejas ni contiendas, para que sean intachables y puros, hijos de Dios sin culpa en medio de una generación torcida y depravada. En ella ustedes brillan como estrellas en el firmamento” (Filipenses 2:14, 15, NVI).
Nuestra actitud es bastante importante, especialmente porque otros están mirándonos para ver como los cristianos actúan en situaciones diarias. Cuando las personas ven que tenemos la misma actitud al igual que Cristo, seremos como modelos en un mundo oscuro.

“Todos ustedes son hijos de Dios mediante la fe en Cristo Jesús” (Gálatas 3:26, NVI).
La fe en Jesús abre la puerta a las cosas maravillosas. Históricamente, la fe ha traído sanidad, liberación e incluso la resurrección de la muerte. Con eso en mente, no debería venir como sorpresa que la fe nos hace hijos de Dios.

“So in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith” (Galatians 3:26, NIV).
Faith in Jesus opens the door to marvelous things. Historically, faith in him has brought healing, deliverance, and even the resurrection of the dead. With that in mind, it should come as no surprise that faith makes us God’s own children.
